Most EMR's (all that we have seen) are primarily designed around the physician-based clinical practice with their focus on the physician and her workflow. In our opinion, their capabilities and tools are streamlined for a physician's activity only, and getting them to serve IHPs and the Family Health Team model can be a challenge.
